Hi, I'm James — or Jim — and I am on a mission to provide quality resources for GAMSAT preparation.

Too many people are stuck using overpriced, poorly structured resources that overcomplicate the process and waste time; preying on people’s vulnerability and anxiety given their desire to get into med school. After tutoring the past three years focused on the GAMSAT — I’ve seen the same issues again and again: students feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, feeling like they keep trying things without seeing any improvement.

This is because the resources and teaching sucks.

I’ve always believed in building understanding from the ground up — focusing on concepts first, then layering in the detail. It’s how I successfully studied for the GAMSAT and how I successfully tutored many students to massive improvements in their scores.

Whilst my tutoring produces excellent results (which you can checkout here) I acknowledge that it is expensive and out of reach of many people. As a result, I decided to make some free resources such as Youtube videos, e-books, and practice questions.

Creating the community was really to organise all of my resources in an accessible way, and be able to connect with you when you have questions. I find it really enjoyable running group sessions and seeing everyone grow and develop.

Obviously running this comes at a cost, so I will occasionally promote my tutoring services to those who want it to help run the community.
