The only GAMSAT prep that builds the reasoning frameworks required for Section 3 success
Learn not just the technical skills, but how to decode what questions are actually asking, apply reasoning frameworks to understand dense information, and study effectively for Section 3.
Here’s what I do
Section 3 is about reasoning.
Many people get questions wrong and see all this foreign looking information so think they need to learn more content.
Whilst you do need a strong understanding of basic maths and science, in my experience knowledge of these areas is not the issue.
What they lack is the ability to apply reasoning frameworks to interpret dense, complicated information and use it with their knowledge to solve a problem.
This approach worked for me and many others who I have taught it to.

And before you ask - yes, I know what I’m talking about
When I first decided to apply for medicine, I did what most people do. I bought a resource pack from one of those preparation companies.
Going through the rehashed science course felt like progress, but whenever I sat down with the ACER materials, I was completely lost.
I kept going in circles, learning content, but having no idea how to solve problems.
I started working backwards from the questions and started seeing patterns.
Each question wasn’t this super advanced bit of science - it was a dense description of something related to a basic concept.
When I drew conclusions from this information through reasoning - things like deduction, inference, and abstraction - I was able to relate it to the basic science concepts I knew and solve the problem.
This is how I think about the GAMSAT today: reasoning to draw conclusions from information, before applying this through a skill.
It worked for me, and over the past three years, I’ve taught this system to hundreds of students, many of whom credit this change of approach to the awesome scores they have achieved.
