How to think about Section 3

Most students struggle with Section 3.

It’s not because they’re not smart enough or don’t study enough, but because they are preparing the wrong way.

You don’t just need more science content. You need to develop your reasoning skills.

You need to change how you think. How to problem-solve.

Interpreting unfamiliar information and relating it to what you already know. Making assumptions without the complete picture.

I believe there is so much to learn from others and that is why I made this
Section 3 community. A collection of people going through the same journey you are, who can support and learn from each other.

Why I’ve made this

I know exactly how overwhelming Section 3 can feel.

When I was preparing, I kept getting lost in content and had no idea how to actually approach the ACER questions.

Over time, I figured out the reasoning skills and frameworks that make Section 3 manageable and it became my highest scoring section.

Since then, I’ve taught hundreds of students how to do the same. But I realised something was missing: most people don’t just need resources, they need support, accountability, and the chance to learn from others.

A place where you can connect, see how others approach problems, and get ongoing guidance to keep improving every day.

  • All sessions are recorded and uploaded, so you can watch (and rewatch) them anytime. You’ll still get the full benefit of the teaching, practice, and coaching even if you can’t make it live.

  • To keep it consistent, I run events at 6pm every Wednesday AEST.
